Parent Teacher Association

Down Ampney C of E Primary School’s PTA brings together parents, teachers and others to raise funds to help the school offer many exciting educational experiences, as well as fun activities for the children. Everyone is welcome. Our meetings are held twice per term in the school hall.

DA PTA is a registered charity and regular fundraising events are organised throughout the year. In the past few years we have organised a jumble trail, an Easter trail and a Christmas community event. We also try to organise fun events for the children, such as a Spuds and Sparklers event near Bonfire Night.

As well as fundraising, we also support the incredible extra-curricular work of the primary school staff, such as making and serving dinner and breakfast for school sleepovers, serving drinks at school events and helping out with projects around the school.

The money raised by the PTA contributes to many different things at the school, including buses for trips, new furniture, Kitchen Club, Science equipment *data bloggers, Bark and sand and a Plaque for the Jubilee to name a few.
