* Where indicated, these policies must be approved by the entire governing body. The approval of the Headteacher and Chair of Governors shown in these policies also confirms that they have been subject to review and approval by the entire body and that a suitable record of that process is available for statutory inspection on demand.

New information often comes to light between policy reviews. Changes we have become aware of which will be addressed at the next document review are shown here for your convenience.

  • Policies contain links or mention of central and local government publications that are subject to change, often without notice. Such links or references were correct at the last policy review and will be updated if necessary at the next review. It is inevitable that between reviews some information will become out of date or invalid. If you require a linked resource and have difficulty finding it, please contact the school and we will endeavour to assist.
  • Some documents have text styling that indicates internal hyperlinks when none are present. This does not affect use of the printed document and will be addressed at the next review.
  • Several policies refer to the DfE’s Governance Handbook (2019). This has been superceded by The Governance Guide, published in March 2024.
  • The Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership was previously known as The Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board and all references to this earlier name should be taken to refer to the current organisation.
  • Mentions of PACE refer to the organisation’s new name of The Ivison Trust.
  • Mentions of Info Buzz refer to the organisation now known as Young Gloucestershire.
  • The services offered by Castle Gate Gloucestershire are set out in a new website.
  • References to earlier versions of “Keeping Children Safe In Education” refer to the current version
