Down Ampney Primary School

SEND

SEND and Inclusion are priorities at Down Ampney C of E Primary School. Our Governing Body and all of our staff members are committed to ensuring inclusion and to adhering to the principles outlined in our SEND policy.

We believe that parent-teacher-pupil collaboration is key to ensuring that provision is made for those children who need it and to making sure they are provided with every opportunity to become the best they can be.

The Children and Families Act brought into force in September 2014, altered the way children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are supported in schools. Down Ampney C of E Primary School’s SEND Policy is fully compliant with current regulation.

If you would like any more information about Special Educational Needs and the support which we can offer at Down Ampney C of E Primary School, then  please contact our Interim Head Teacher/ Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Mrs Rebecca Gray either through the school office or by emailing senco@downampney.gloucs.sch.uk
